As Chief Investment Officer, John is responsible for developing First Western’s overall investment strategy. He leads the Investment Policy Committee, which designs the asset allocation guidelines to be implemented by First Western’s portfolio managers. He also directs the firm’s partnerships with outside investment managers. Previously, John served as the chief investment and fiduciary officer for BBVA Compass Bank, headquartered in Texas, overseeing the company’s North American investments with more than $10 billion in assets under management.
